How do I become a captain on your platform?

What are the requirements and vetting process to join WTRway World?
We will need to verify your Captain’s license, medical card, ID, and certificate and conduct a background check to ensure the safety of the passengers and operations. Also, since we currently operate in South Florida, we are looking for Captains who are traveling within South Florida.
How are captain rates determined and when do I get paid?
Captain rates are determined based on factors such as the type of trip, the duration, the size of the vessel, and the level of expertise required. WTRWAY World provides standardized rate guidelines to ensure fairness and consistency.
Do you provide any training or support for captains?
We provide customer service to captains along with a FAQ section to respond to commonly asked questions from Captains. Also, when the app launches, you can join the captain community where you can communicate with other fellow captains.
How do you handle customer complaints or incidents?

Can I set my own schedule and availability?
As a captain, you can set up your schedule and availability, but it may depend on whether you own a boat or are working with a boat owner. If the boat owner provides full access to the vessel, you have greater flexibility to choose your availability. However, if access is limited to specific times determined by the boat owner, scheduling will need to align with those parameters.
Do you help with marketing or finding new customers?
In the app, we have a rating system that allows passengers to rate your service. Also, the more rides that you go through, the greater your influence on the rating system. In addition, the higher your customer ratings are, the more we will promote your profile to passengers.
What's the difference between WTRway World and WTRway Crew?
WTRway World is the marketplace where passengers book experiences and boat owners manage bookings. WTRway Crew is our workforce platform that connects captains, crew members, and boat owners for employment and crew management.
