We will need to verify your Captain’s license and conduct a background check to ensure the safety of the passengers and operations. Also, since currently operate in South Florida, we are looking for Captains who are traveling within South Florida (Homestead to West Palm Beach).

Captain rates are determined based on factors such as the type of trip, the duration, the size of the vessel, and the level of expertise required. WTRWAY World provides standardized rate guidelines to ensure fairness and consistency.

We provide customer service to captains along with a FAQ section to respond to commonly asked questions from Captains. Also, we have a Captain community where you can communicate with other fellow captains. 

We offer general liability insurance along with cybersecurity insurance. See boat owner page for more details.

  • Immediate Reporting: Customers can report any issues directly through the app or website using our dedicated support feature.
  • Dedicated Support Team: Our trained customer service team reviews and investigates every complaint promptly.
  • Fair Resolution: We work closely with all parties involved—passengers, Captains, and boat owners—to address concerns and find a fair resolution.
    Incident Escalation: For serious incidents, we escalate the case to the appropriate authorities or insurance providers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Feedback from complaints helps us improve our services and prevent similar issues in the future.

As a captain, you can set your schedule and availability, but it may depend on whether you own a boat or are working with a boat owner. If the boat owner provides full access to the vessel, you have greater flexibility to choose your availability. However, if access is limited to specific times determined by the boat owner, scheduling will need to align with those parameters.

In the app, we have a rating system that allows passengers to rate your service. Also, the more rides that you go through, the greater you influence the rating system. 

In addition, we will promote your profile to more passengers the higher your based on your customer ratings.
